What do you get when two local, independent food and beverage creatives team up to present a evening of food and drink together? A culinary collaboration that is sure to rock your Sunday afternoon!Take a culinary journey to Middle Earth with a six-course brunch menu inspired by Tolkien, prepared by the Wells Hotel, matched with a six-part beer pairing curated by Deadfall Brewing (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available). Middle-Earth attire is encouraged!
This special feast is part of the Fall Cariboo Culinary Collaboration series, where we travel the Cariboo to collaborate with other small business to provided unique food and drink experiences in new venues. Our Spring series events completed sold out, so don't miss the opportunity to join us this Fall!
The Menu:
* Hors d’ouevre: huckleberry and whipped feta crostini with birch syrup glaze
* Soup: cod and clam chowder
* Appetizer: stuffed mushrooms with quail egg
* Salad: arugula, squash, and beet salad with walnut and parmigiano reggiano
* Main: pistachio pomegranate lamb chop with parsnip puree and greens
* Dessert: bee sting cake with honey and almond
*IMPORTANT* this is a set menu event. Substitutions and alternatives to the set menu will not be available.
