Join us at Bourbon Barrel Foods for a live recipe demo with Chef Emily that celebrates the classic flavors that define Derby entertaining.
Inside the Monogram Kitchen Studio, Emily will prepare a lineup of time-tested recipes from the Eat Your Bourbon cookbook. These are the kinds of dishes that show up at spring parties, porch gatherings and Derby celebrations across Louisville.
The demo will feature a few quintessential Derby favorites:
• Bourbon Barrel Foods Pimento Cheese served with fresh crudité
• Buttery Biscuits with Country Ham and Bourbon Barrel Foods Apple Butter
• Benedictine, Louisville’s iconic cucumber spread, demonstrated several ways including sandwiches and canapés
Along the way, guests will learn simple techniques for hosting with confidence and serving classic Kentucky flavors at home.
A Cucumber Gin & Tonic from the Eat Your Bourbon cookbook will be available as a featured drink special during the event.
