Join award-winning Ukrainian-Canadian composer Taras Luka for the official release concert of Man Behind the Camera, an original piano album inspired by Dziga Vertov’s legendary silent film Man with a Movie Camera (1929).

This special evening takes place just one week before the project’s New York premiere, making Vancouver the very first city to experience the complete album live before it begins its U.S. journey.

Taras Luka is an award-winning Ukrainian-Canadian composer, pianist, accordionist, and music director whose work bridges concert music, cinema, and live performance.

His music has been performed across Canada, the United States, Italy, Poland, and Ukraine. His latest project, Man with a Movie Camera – Live Cinema Concert, presents an original live score performed in synchronization with one of the greatest silent films ever made.
