About this Event

Discover the 'lightbulb moments' that will help you demystify AI skills and unlock confident leadership, marketing, HR and workflow.
  • Have you hit a wall with unreliable or inaccurate AI outputs?
  • Are you in need of some clarity and simplification around the dizzying tools and terminology?
  • Do you have experience but need a strategy?
  • Are you anxious about data management and rising costs?
  • Have you been told 'it's all about prompting' or 'junk-in-junk-out' but realised there's more to it?
  • Or, maybe you've not started yet but thinking it's about time?

If so, you're not alone....

In the feverish 'Wild West' of AI adoption, many are discovering through time and money-sapping trial and error that the 'how to tips and tricks' only take you so far, and can even take you backwards.

Invest time to save time

Whether you're a sole trader or a CEO of a large corporate - join Rob for a dynamic, practical session focused on understanding the often unknown realities of your own contextual challenges, and how you can uncover how AI can best for your specific situations....and, crucially, where it may be a black hole of time and money.

it works for what purpose, and where the misunderstandings and pain points lie. Come with your challenges, and reflect on ways to troubleshoot, fix or just get started.

'92% of small businesses raise concerns or anxiety about AI adoption'

AI use among small firms has nearly tripled in two years, (according to forthcoming FSB research), with 92% raising concerns or anxiety.

Inaccurate, untrustworthy or ineffective outputs top the table of worries, with other fears including data, copyright and liability.

Plus, with wellbeing and productivity going hand-in-hand, human judgment and critical thinking have never been so important.

AI (Artificial Intelligence) is not new. But what is relatively new since the launch of ChatGPT in 2022 is the explosion of AI Chatbots, and the fact that people using natural human language to prompt generative AI instead of code. That shift has created a whole new learning curve around what this tech actually excels at, how to get the best out of it, and when to use a different tool altogether.

So, what can we do about it?

AI can be extraordinarily powerful and transformative. But, understanding how it works and why it behaves the way it does is crucial when making good, strategic or practical decisions.

This hands-on workshop is for anyone who is currently using, or considering using Generative AI.

  • Struggling with accuracy versus creativity: You need reliable, deterministic results, creative outputs - or combinations of both. What you don't need is "AI Workslop" (the illusion of productivity).
  • Lost in the jargon and a sea of tools: You want the simple versions of what is meant by 'Agent', 'RAG', 'Context Windows', 'Hallucinations' and more.; as well as which tool fits which use case.
  • Heard "AI can do that for you": but are finding it's not as simple as it's made out to be.
  • Financial costs & privacy: Enterprise vs. standard models, policy oversight, data safety, and rising subscription expenses.
  • Hit a ceiling or stalled: You’ve got the basics going, but your team’s productivity gains have stalled.

What you will gain:

  • Make complex things feel simple: A clear framework for evaluating what, when and how to deploy AI (and when not to)
  • "It's not just about prompting"" - Practical strategies to fix inaccurate GenAI outputs and build reliable workflows and understanding why 'good prompting' is only half the story
  • Time spent vs time saved: Know how to balance time saved versus time spent using AI tools
  • Tools working together: Understand where the limitations of generative AI mean that other deterministic digital tools must take over, and how the two can work together

Format: In-person, small group workshop (maximum 10 people)

Capacity: Limited to 10 delegates to ensure hands-on, interactive delivery.
