🕑: 11:30 AM - 11:45 AM
Welcome
Host: Jack Chambers-Ward
🕑: 11:45 AM - 12:05 PM
The SERPs hold more insights than you think
Host: Arnout Hellemans

Info: We spend thousands on software subscriptions, yet we often neglect the most important SEO tool: The search engine results page.
SERPs are more personalised than ever, and every results page is full of insights that most people aren’t paying attention to.
In this talk, Arnout Hellemans will provide examples and a framework for analysing SERPs and understanding how to truly make a positive business impact with your SEO strategies.

🕑: 12:05 PM - 12:25 PM
From rankings to recognition: Discoverability in a multi-platform search world
Host: Bengü Sarıca Dinçer

Info: Search has evolved into a multi-platform discovery ecosystem. Being “everywhere” sounds like the solution, yet many brands with massive visibility still struggle to be found, understood, or remembered. This talk will break down how discoverability actually works in today’s fragmented search landscape, where most strategies break down, and how to tell whether your visibility is producing real impact, or just nice-looking dashboards.

🕑: 12:25 PM - 12:45 PM
What AI Knows About You (and how to fix it)
Host: Dixon Jones

Info: As AI prompts become more prolific, most SEOs started looking for clicks that were never going to materialize and then looked to get cited in every relevant AI LLM response. But it turns out this is not the place to start. You first need to focus on accuracy, then content, then reach... before you will see any response in your prompt tracking.

🕑: 12:45 PM - 01:00 PM
First break
🕑: 01:00 PM - 01:20 PM
Catching technical SEO regressions and rendering disasters in CI for Shopify
Host: Estela Franco

Info: One of the elephants in the room for our industry is that most SEO testing still happens in production. At best, we may have a pre-prod environment. But because SEO validation is typically siloed from engineering, we often rely on luck to catch issues before they go live. This session reframes SEO from a reactive checklist into a system of automated SEO guardrails. Learn how to simulate Googlebot-like rendering within a CI/CD workflow to catch regressions and block the build before it ships. Stop testing in production. Start shipping with confidence.

🕑: 01:20 PM - 01:40 PM
Beyond the query: how emotional brand signals influence clicks and conversions
Host: Giulia Panozzo

Info: In this session, Giulia shares the results of a study exploring whether people’s nervous systems react differently to AI-generated versus human-created content. The study showed that the strongest driver was the subjective brand experience. Participants weren’t responding to AI or human craft; they were responding to what the brand already meant to them. The more decisive factors, the set of visceral reactions that guide user actions, remains something we can still influence.

🕑: 01:40 PM - 02:00 PM
How Google manages its index
Host: Adam Gent

Info: Adam will be talking about how Google decides which pages are indexed and appear in Google search results.

🕑: 02:00 PM - 03:00 PM
Lunch break
🕑: 03:00 PM - 03:45 PM
Panel: The future of search and SEO
Host: Brendan Bennett

Info: This all-star panel will discuss the future of search and SEO. With how much SEO is changing thanks to the rise of AI search, where do SEO experts think the industry will be next year or in 5 years' time?

🕑: 03:45 PM - 04:00 PM
Second break
🕑: 04:00 PM - 04:20 PM
Don't forget to optimise so they subscribe
Host: Myriam Jessier

Info: Machines can see, read and hear your content, sometimes all at once. This talk provides best practices when it comes to multimodal optimization so that your videos, images, and podcasts are cited in AI search results.

🕑: 04:20 PM - 04:50 PM
Keynote: In search for a better web
Host: Martin Splitt

Info: In this keynote, Martin looks at the web - not as a Googler, but as a user... Where are we headed, what are we doing... and what if we do things differently?

🕑: 04:50 PM - 05:00 PM
Farewell and thank you
Host: Jack Chambers-Ward
🕑: 05:00 PM - 10:00 PM
The SearchNorwichXL after party

Info: The official SearchNorwichXL after-party - hosted at Dead Wax Norwich.
