About this Event
Join Us for Social Media Training!
Does your charity, voluntary group or social enterprise know you should be using social media, but don't know where to start?
Join us for Social Media 101, led by Natasha Burr Wilby from Vesper House. This relaxed, hands-on workshop will give you space to ask questions, try things out, and build confidence using social media for your organisation.
You'll learn...
- Why social media matters for modern VCSEs
- Choosing the right platform for you and your donors
- Creating content that attracts donors
- Understanding branding and consistency
- How to plan and organise your posts
- Tips for increasing engagement and visibility
- Building a basic strategy you can follow
This is not a two-hour lecture. Instead, there will be time for questions, discussion and hands-on practice, so you can try things out during the session and get support as you go.
Please bring the device you normally use for social media, such as a phone or laptop, so you can take part in the practical elements of the workshop.
