About this Event
Join us in the Adorama Event Space for a timely and much-needed conversation on copyright, creativity, and the fast-moving impact of AI in the world of content creation.
As artificial intelligence transforms how creative work is produced, shared, and monetized, understanding the fundamentals of copyright protection is more essential than ever. Whether you’re a photographer, filmmaker, designer, or digital creator, knowing how to safeguard your work — and when to register it — can make all the difference in protecting your livelihood and creative legacy.
Gili Karev of Klaris Law will share expert insights into the evolving intersection of copyright law and AI, offering practical guidance for creators navigating these rapid technological changes.
Key discussion points include:
- The foundations of copyright and why it matters for every creator
- The benefits of registering your work and how registration strengthens your legal protection
- What copyright law currently says about AI-generated content
- Ownership and authorship: who holds the rights to AI-assisted creations?
- How to protect your intellectual property in an AI-driven creative landscape
- Fair use: where legal and ethical boundaries are being tested
- Case studies highlighting recent copyright challenges and outcomes
- What upcoming legislation and court decisions could mean for artists and content professionals
The session will conclude with a Q&A, giving attendees the opportunity to ask their most pressing questions about protecting and managing their creative rights in the age of AI.
Please Note: This is a don't miss in-person event that is also livestreamed on the Adorama YouTube channel.
