We welcome you to the 2025 Talk Death Cemetery Scavenger Hunt!
This year, the Cleveland Death Society has teamed up with Monroe Street Cemetery Foundation!
To bring you a truly unique experience!
Not only can you trick or treat with the kiddos and pals.
But you can also join us in the scavenger hunt!
How the Cemetery Scavenger Hunt Works
-Folks gather at the local cemetery of their choice before a certain time
-At the start time, TalkDeath shares a list of clues to find (these are shared on Instagram and our website)
-Folks have 45 minutes to find and photograph as many of them as they can before submitting their findings
-Folks submit their findings via a provided online form
-Winners are announced 45 minutes after clues are due
Clues include headstone iconography, items often found in cemeteries, names, or dates. We strive to include a wide variety of locations and cultural backgrounds in our clues, but we cannot guarantee that every cemetery will have every clue.
Prizes will be awarded to:
- Highest number of clues found
-Whoever found a certain number of clues first,
-Accolades such as most creative photography, etc.
