Tales Of Frankenstein Movie Night!

Crimson Theatre Live presents a night of gothic horror with Tales of Frankenstein, a four-part anthology from cult filmmaker Donald F. Glut, whose work spans everything from the novelization of The Empire Strikes Back to decades of storytelling across comics, television, and film. Created as a tribute to Frankenstein, the film revisits the classic monster myth through four distinct stories—each one exploring obsession, creation, and consequence in its own strange and unsettling way. The tone leans theatrical and experimental, with a handmade feel that sets it apart from more traditional horror films.

Hosted by Dr. Destruction and his crew, the evening leans into a familiar late-night tradition. As he puts it, Sunday nights have always been made for this kind of thing—anthology horror, strange stories, and a little bit of the unknown—like Tales from the Darkside, Monsters, or even Doctor Who. Tales of Frankenstein fits right into that lineage, playing like something that could have existed as a weekly series of its own, with each segment offering a different take on the myth.
