We are Golden Gems. Susan and Amanda started Golden Gems in 2016. We are a retail and lifestyle brand selling custom designed products. Since our start, we've remained true to our mission of inspiring and empowering you to live unapologetically. Join us for
a presentation on how a risk our grandfather took resulted in a life changing experience for him and serves as ongoing inspiration for us as artists and business owners. Hear about our ups and downs, how we've continually worked to remain true to ourselves,
and some of the lessons we've learned along the way.

Susan Logsdon is a seasoned illustrator and graphic designer with over 15 years of expertise in visual communication. As the Co-Founder and Chief Creative Director of Golden Gems, a dynamic lifestyle brand based in St. Louis, Missouri, Susan leads the creative department with a visionary approach. Her role encompasses designing and developing innovative products, crafting compelling visual campaigns, and directing the creative strategy for Golden Gems’ retail merchandising. Susan’s influence extends to Golden Gems’ newest venture, Hidden Gem, where she oversees the creative direction of the brand’s bar experience. Her dedication to merging art with functionality continues to drive the brand’s expansion and success. Outside of her professional life, Susan is a fan of Wheel of Fortune, a devoted cat lover, and an avid chess player. She is enthusiastic about the ongoing evolution of Golden Gems and looks forward to new creative horizons.

Amanda Helman has over 15 years of experience in the retail field, managing operations, merchandising, and making displays for companies like Free People and Anthropologie. Amanda is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Golden Gems, a lifestyle brand located in St. Louis, MO started with her business partner and sister, Susan Logsdon. With the goal of inspiring your inner badass, the duo creates bold, cheeky, and empowering merchandise that does just that. The product line spans over 32 categories and over hundreds of products - including apparel, keytags, mugs, candles, perfumes, journals, stationary, bags, banners, home decor and more. Amanda runs operations for Golden Gems’ 3 storefronts in the St. Louis area (Midtown, City Foundry and West County Mall) as well as the long anticipated disco dive bar, Hidden Gem, opened in December 2023. With recent notoriety of winning an Arch Grant in 2023, the Golden Gems brand has been growing steadily over the past year with plans to continue that growth in St. Louis and beyond.
