Combine the magic of finding a new favorite book with the joy of meeting adorable, adoptable animals!

Join Book Swap Society in the community room at the Humane Society of the South Platte Valley (HSSPV) for a very special afternoon. While you browse the tables for your next great read, you will get to mingle and interact with sweet, adoptable cats and dogs looking for their forever homes.

Special Activity: At the 45-minute mark of our event, HSSPV staff will offer an optional, behind-the-scenes tour of the facility for any attendees who want to learn more about the shelter and see the incredible work they do!

How Do Our Book Swap Events Work? 📚🤔

• Step 1: 📖 Please bring at least one book to participate, feel free to bring more if you'd like
• Step 2: 👋 Check in with the host and lay out your books on the designated tables
• Step 3: 🧐 Browse through other people’s books
• Step 4: 🛍️ You may grab up to four new (to you) books to take home per person
• Step 5: ☕ Mingle with fellow book lovers, pet some animals, and support the shelter
• Step 6: ♻️ The leftover books get circulated back into future Book Swap events and donated to Little Free Libraries
