Tahoma Hoppers is a non-audition, casual performance team in Tacoma! Join the Tahoma Hoppers if you're looking to practice learning and performing choreography, expanding your vocabulary of classic moves and routines, and refining your connection and technique. This quarter, we're doing a slow-tempo partnered routine.Our first meeting is Wednesday, January 7th at Avelon Ballroom at 8pm; all following rehearsals are Wednesdays at 8pm. This is a great time to learn more about the team and see if we're a good fit for your dancing goals! Dancers should have a firm grasp of six-count basics, be familiar with swingouts, and know some solo jazz (ex. the Shim Sham). Everyone is welcome and no partner is needed, so just bring your enthusiasm and groove!

The Winter trimester will run from January to mid-April. Dancers should be available for performances at T-Town Swing (exact performance dates TBA). Dues are $120/month, and some scholarship funds are available—inquire at [email protected].
