This quarter Grit City Groove is doing a switch routine! Dancers can expect to switch between leading and following throughout this upper/mid tempo routine.We are holding auditions on January 6th from 8-9:30pm at Avelon Ballroom (2315 6th Ave, Tacoma). Auditions are open to anyone! The format will feel a bit like a free dance workshop. You'll be learning a bit of Lindy Hop choreography alongside the current team members and other auditioners; applicants will be selected based on skill level, balance, team needs, and schedule availability. Auditioning as a partnership is preferred, but not required this quarter.
Before you audition, please fill out the Google audition form: https://forms.gle/L8WbR4s6HVCC7ZG3A. Please arrive a few minutes early to make sure we can get started right on time.
Team meets every Wednesday from 8:00-9:30 at Avelon Ballroom, and performance dates are TBA.
Dues are $120/month, and some scholarship funds are available if that is a hardship for you—inquire at [email protected]
