We're back with the second edition of Pull Up presents TACTILE at The 27 Club, and this time we have a special guest... MAGUGU

On April 11, 2026, we welcome Magugu to the city for his debut Ottawa show, and we've invited our pals at HIFIVE to power the event with their incredible hand built system.

Magugu - the voice at the forefront of some of the biggest records at the moment such as Mala & Magugu’s Militant Don - is a Nigerian MC and producer based out of the UK. The notable MC is on a mission to spread his Pidgin Rap style (a local dialect in Nigeria) all over the world. In recent years, Magugu has been making waves in the Dubstep and Grime scenes with his extensive catalogue full of modern classics such as Black Rambo, and through his collaborations with iconic Dubstep producers such as Mala, The Bug, and many more. The renown MC’s distinctive deep voice, often heard flowing effortlessly over deep sub bass, is the perfect guest for the second edition of TACTILE.

Our TACTILE parties offer an immersive and visceral experience built around the deeper sounds, featuring sound system crews and their rig, and DJs playing the deepest cuts. This one being extra special with Magugu performing, and MC later parts of the evening.

Making their second appearance in Ottawa is Montréal’s HIFIVE sound system crew and their rig. This handcrafted system is a true work of art and passion, engineered for the chest rattling depths of bass music. In Montréal, the HIFIVE crew has powered unforgettable nights with their system for artists like Bakey, Distinct Motive, Sully, Madam X, and many more. The HIFIVE crew’s experience in Montréal's DIY scene is undeniable and their passion for bass music in all its forms is unmatched.

Joining us on April 11th in support of Magugu is Kentsuji - HIFIVE Sound System's own DJ and master dubplate collector, So Durand - with his moody and bouncy productions playing deep cuts, and TACTILE & Pull Up's own DazeyLanes, Bleu Pâle and And.re. - all driving that system's low-end spectrum.
