Taco Wars returns to downtown Shreveport spring 2026 with taquerias, sweet treats, cold beer, margaritas, live music, and community like nothing you’ve ever seen!This celebration of the Latino culture in Shreveport serves up “comida y comunidad” (food and community) where 90% of all taco and treat sales go directly to the taco vendors with the remaining helping to fund the festival itself.
Admission is free! Tacos, treats, and drinks are priced by the vendors and purchased with Taco Tickets!
🌮 Most tacos range from 4-5 Tickets.
🌽 Sweet treats range from 5-12 Tickets.
💧 Bottled Water is 2 Tickets.
🥤 Sodas, Teas, and other drinks 4 Tickets.
🍸 Margaritas 14-20 Tickets
🍺 Beer 7 Tickets
🥃 Tequila Shots 10-25 Tickets (including top shelf)
1 Ticket costs $1 and are purchased at the festival at several ticket kiosks. You may purchase as many as you like and return to a kiosk at any time to purchase more, but Taco Ticket sales are FINAL.
Salsa voting is 11am until 3pm
Ticket sales end at 7:00pm
