CLASS INFORMATION

Students will polish on their metal fabrication skills by making a small hinged metal booklet. You will be working with hand tools as well as power tools, and master foundational techniques including sawing, roller mill texturing, stamping, annealing, soldering, marriage of metals, hinge making and patination. This 8-week course is perfect for those who have some experiences in metalsmithing and want to explore more.

Students should be comfortable with basic metal fabrication and soldering. Beginner Jewelry is recommended. A pre-screening process is required.
