T-SAM Training

Description:

The TSAM offers mental health professionals a collaborative, client-centered approach to assessment and management of risk, assessing strengths and needs in addition to risks and providing a structured process for stabilization, treatment planning, and re-evaluation of risk at every client contact.

This training will provide an overview of T-SAM principles and approach to risk assessment and management, the clinical interview, treatment planning, risk formulation, documentation, and service planning with a mix of demonstration, role play, interactive activities, discussion, and Q&A.

7 Category I contact hours for Psychologists are provided. CCSME is a pre-approved sponsor and provider of Professional Education Activities for Psychologists.

7 contact hours for CHES. CCSME is a designated provider of continuing education contact hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.

7 contact hours pending approval by the Maine Board of Alcohol and Drug Counselors.
