SDM is Sydney's largest craft market focusing on second hand raw materials such as fabric, yarn, buttons, beads, and more.

Entry to the market is $2 and everyone attending is invited to bring a bag a fabric scraps that we will send for recycling.
This years, we are proud to be welcoming Skate Ability to the Market.
Skate Ability is a small, South-West Sydney–based charity that supports people with disabilities to safely access ice skating. Throughout 2023–2024, they provided equipment, volunteers, and coaches, and ran free, supported ice-skating sessions. This work helps increase community participation, reduce social isolation, and improve wellbeing and mental health outcomes.
At the market, Skate Ability will be running a collection drive for craft supplies to support their amazing crafters with disabilities. They’re especially looking for fabric remnants (30cm x 30cm or larger), towelling, thread, lace, interfacing, stuffing, needles, pins, beads, and jewellery-making supplies. If your in a position to donate, please stop by their stall at the next market.
