About this Event
Breathing happens all the time, yet when life becomes demanding, the breath often stops feeling supportive.
Focus drifts. The body stays quietly braced. Even rest doesn’t always restore the steadiness it used to.
This breathwork workshop is for anyone wanting to feel more clear, steady, and capable in themselves, by learning how to create a reliable internal base you can return to in everyday life, especially when things feel busy or uncertain.
Through a gentle mix of short education, guided breathing practices, and time to rest, you’ll explore how breathing works when it’s supportive and how small shifts can make a real difference.
During the workshop, we’ll spend time with:
- How breathing actually works, and why rhythm often matters more than effort
- The difference between equal and unequal breathing, and how to choose what supports you in the moment
- Simple, accessible breath practices you can use at home, at work, or when pressure is present
- A guided Yoga Nidra relaxation at the end, to allow everything to settle
The emphasis throughout is on steadiness, choice, and self-trust, building stability and strength from the inside.
If this approach resonates, you’re warmly invited to join.
Spaces are limited, and the workshop is offered in person to allow time, guidance, and space to work with the breath in a grounded, practical way.

ABOUT YOUR FACILITATOR
My name is Stanja, I am a yoga teacher, somatic movement, breathwork, and meditation facilitator, with over 30 years of personal practice and more than 2,000 guided sessions. My work is grounded in lived experience, contemporary understanding of the nervous system, Eastern wisdom, and a deep respect for human resilience.
Through my own life, I’ve learned that strength isn’t about constant pushing. There is another kind of strength, quiet and steady, that grows when we learn to listen to the body, stay present, and move through life with awareness. That understanding shapes how I work with people today.
My experience includes living with chronic illness, as well as war and displacement. These experiences have influenced my path without defining me. Through years of personal work, practice, education, and teaching in community and custodial settings, they’ve become a source of clarity, compassion, and grounded support I bring into every session.
I don’t believe people need to be fixed.
I believe in creating spaces where people feel safe to be who they are.
When those conditions are present, change happens naturally.
That is the space I hold. ✨
