Sydney Conscious Community - Connection Workshop with Joe & Kat

Whether you've been before or joining us for the first time, all are welcome.
We've been bringing people together to Connect, Support and Collaborate since October 2024 with regular community gatherings and we welcome you to our next gathering!
With the support of the City of Sydney Council we are able to offer a free space for the conscious community to gather on a monthly basis (usually on the 3rd or 4th Thursday) with an optional donation to cover light snacks provided.
We have a special guest each time, from the community, to share their offerings in the space. We are so thrilled to announce this month's special guests are Joe Figliano & Kat Cowling - co-creators of Lovefest as well as co-creators of these Sydney Conscious Community Gatherings. Joe & Kat co-hosted the first 12 months of community gatherings and they will be returning as our guests to offer a Connection Workshop, just 2 days before Lovefest Cronulla! Joe & Kat will be inviting us to connect more with self, others and planet earth. How to increase connection while improving your own self expression in a fun and meaningful way.
Whether you're new to the conscious community (or maybe don't know what it's about) or you've joined us before or not, it's a great opportunity to connect with like minded souls and form some new connections and friendships.

Meet your Hosts:
Maria Lambi
Maria is a Circle and Meditation Facilitator and has been hosting regular Soul Space Circles since 2017. Maria has also led meditation sessions in a corporate setting, both online and in person and is passionate about bringing people together, integrating years of self-awareness modalities and practices since 2009. Maria is an International Best Selling Co-Author of the multi-author book Beyond Conditioning and a meditation teacher on Insight Timer. Maria is also a Crisis Support Worker with Lifeline since December 2023 and worked at Lifeline's Bondi beach Critical Response support hub, offering face to face support for the community since the December 2025 attacks. Maria is also a certified transformational life coach.

Joel Byrnes
Producer, Director, Stuntman, Skydiver, Musician. A local aspiring hippy specialising in didgeridoo, crystal bowl and shamanic drum he plays at various conscious events, festivals, jams and ceremonies. Inspired and passionate about community with fireside gatherings he's creating his own ecosystems with GreenSky BioTech and Algaemunity to participate in the creation of the world he enjoys living in.

Joe Figliano & Kat Cowling - Special Guests
Joe and Kat are the co-creators behind Lovefest, a community movement centred around love for self, community and planet.
For more than a decade, they have been creating and holding spaces that bring people together through authentic connection, conscious communication, movement, music and shared experience. Their work is grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins with how we connect — with ourselves, with each other and with the communities we create.
Joe brings a natural gift for bringing people together, creating spaces where people feel welcome and encouraging deeper, more authentic conversations. Kat brings a practical and intuitive approach to connection, communication and community building, with a particular interest in how we move beyond surface-level interaction into genuine relationship.
Together, they create experiences that are playful, real and accessible — inviting people to drop the masks, meet each other with curiosity and discover what becomes possible when we connect a little more deeply.
