Switching On Community Energy

Ready to dive into the world of community energy? This in-person event is your chance to connect, learn, and get inspired. Whether you're new to the scene or a seasoned pro, come meet like-minded folks and explore some of the exciting ways we could power up our communities.

Local charity Zero Carbon Harrogate has been working closely with energy experts D3 Associates on an exciting feasibility study into locally owned, community energy.

We've identified community buildings in Harrogate and Knaresborough who may beneifit from solar-powered energy, conducted site audits and worked out what might realistically work for each.

At this event, we’ll share what we’ve learned, what could happen next, and how we might move towards a fully funded community energy project in our area that could generate clean power, lower energy bills, and keep money in the community.
