SWIRL SURFSKATE FEST 2026
About this Event
Swirl Fest is a free, all-day celebration of surf skate culture held in its birthplace Venice Beach, California. On July 25, 2026, the festival takes over VENICE with a public pop-up skatepark built by Carver skate, a surf skate competition featuring legendary judges and major prizes, a morning paddle out, a full vendor market, a full public skatepark for all to skate, a live concert closing the road in front of Townhouse, a special surprise artist, and an after party. Admission is free with a $5 suggested donation to the Swirl Skate Foundation. The event is presented by Hydroflask and hosted by @grlswirl.

Info: Bring your surfboard and meet us on the beach! Coffee and pastries will be provided. Meet us north of Lifeguard Tower 26 in Santa Monica. All ages, genders and surf levels welcome. Access to this community event is free but you may leave a donation by purchasing a paddle out ticket.

SurfSkate Competition (Windward Ave and Pacific Ave)
Info: Come join our SurfSkate style competition with an expanded Carver ramp setup and new elements added just for this year’s event. This is a one-of-a-kind course that will showcase the next level in surfskate progression and style. We’ll have legendary judges, alongside with food, drinks, art booths, a Carver surfskate tuning station, and much more!

Pop Up Public Wave Ramp and Pump Track (Windward Ave and Pacific Ave)
Info: Keen ramps wave ramp + Modular Pump track will be set up for all to skate! You must sign a waiver, but it will be a day of play at a pop up park on Windward under the iconic Venice sign.
