This month at the Los Angeles Astro Salon, Thea Wirsching joins your host Vivi Henriette to explore the moon and its phases.

Then we take it a step further to unpack a small but mighty technique, the Progressed Moon Phase. Just as the moon waxes and wanes over a month, these larger cycles outline the ebbs and flows of our personal narratives.

ABOUT VIVI

Vivi Henriette is an LA-based astrologer and tarot reader whose practice centers on storytelling, mythology, and collaborative divination. She creates a space for clients to reclaim their personal narratives through the lens of ancient archetypes. Vivi produces LA Astro Fest, hosts the Los Angeles Astro Salon, and is the creator of the podcast TalkTalkTalk. ABOUT THEA

Thea Wirsching is an Evolutionary Astrologer, writer, scholar, and Mom.  She has been practicing astrology for over two decades, and her counseling business, "The Pluto Babe," is centered in using the birth chart as a tool for healing.  Thea enjoys facilitating the process of self-knowledge that flows from integration of the natal chart, and she often hosts workshops that dig into astrology's feminine archetypes: Venus, Ceres, and the Moon. Thea is a former academic, and her PhD thesis tells the story of America's esoteric history.  Much of that original research appears in her Tarot deck and book, the American Renaissance Tarot (2021).  Thea is currently at work on a pop culture-rich book about astrology with Tarot personality, Laetitia Barbier.

Thea offers eight-week workshops that explore the contours of each 4-year progressed Moon phase.

LA ASTRO SALON

The Los Angeles Astro Salon is a monthly meetup for professional astrologers and serious astrology students of all levels. Hosted by Vivi Henriette of ART of the ZODIAC, each Salon features a new co-host and a robust, audience-driven conversation. Whether you’re a seasoned astrologer or simply astro-curious, the Los Angeles Astro Salon is a space to explore ideas, find support, and connect with a vibrant community of like-minded seekers.

Tickets: $12 - $25 sliding scale (in person only event)

REFUND POLICIES

All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges for PRS events, except in the event of a medical emergency, including but not limited to a positive COVID-19 test.

In the event that PRS is forced to cancel an event entirely, tickets will be refunded or vouchers offered for a rescheduled event.

PARKING

Limited parking is available onsite at PRS in both the front lot (entry from Los Feliz Blvd. when heading east), as well as street parking on Griffith Park Blvd. and (after 7 PM) on Los Feliz Blvd. We encourage attendees to consider carpooling, walking or biking to events if possible, and please be considerate of our Los Feliz neighbors when parking.

PRS EVENT POLICIES

• We encourage you to arrive at least 30 min. before the scheduled event start time to find parking, enjoy the Bookstore and take your seats.
• Please turn off all mobile devices before the show. Talking and texting are not allowed during the events.
• No filming, audio recording or mobile phone recording of events, screenings, concerts or other programs by audience members is allowed without permission.
• There is no smoking permitted on PRS grounds.
• We strongly encourage guests to wear masks to PRS events to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
• PRS allows Service Animals into the facility under ADA and state guidelines. For further details please visit www.ADA.gov. No animals permitted whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support, under ADA guidelines and CA Health Code.
