This is the 26th annual charity golf tournament hosted by Ruben Moore and the Pete the Purple Bull Program (a charity organization) that raises funds for local college scholarships. Ruben has decided this will be his last year hosting this tournament and he plans to make this the best one yet. This is a best-ball tournament that takes place Friday, June 19th at Duck Creek Golf Course in Davenport, Iowa. He has gathered excellent prizes for the golfers and he will again serve ribs and all the extras from Famous Dave's BBQ at the 19th hole in the air-conditioned Duck Creek Hall. This tournament is known to have the very best goody bags and lots of opportunities for golfers to win gift cards and valuable prizes. There's even a chance to win $5000 with a hole-in-one opportunity. This tournament will provide four local high school graduates with scholarships worth a total of $8000. We hope you can join Ruben on the course this year and congratulate him for providing a successful fundraising tournament that has benefited 124 students over the last 26 years. If you can't be there this year, please consider supporting the event by becoming a sponsor or by making a donation. You can learn more and register online by visiting our website (www.qcunited.org).
