Swindon Mindful Employer Network presents:

Join fellow mindful employers from Swindon and the local area for vital discussions on menopause awareness and women’s mental health in the workplace.

As part of our Swindon Mindful Employer Network series, in partnership with Swindon & Gloucestershire Mind and Swindon Borough Council, this event will focus on menopause and explore how menopause-related symptoms can impact mental health, wellbeing, and work performance. Taking place in September, the session will examine the link between menopause, stress, anxiety, confidence, and workplace wellbeing. Gain insights, hear real-world experiences, and engage in meaningful conversations to help create a supportive, inclusive, and understanding workplace.

Menopause can have a significant impact on mental health, affecting mood, anxiety levels, sleep, concentration, and self-confidence. Despite this, many people feel unable to talk openly about menopause at work, often due to stigma, lack of understanding, or fear of being treated differently.

It is important for employers to understand the role they can play in supporting people who experience menopause and protecting mental wellbeing. This event will offer insights and practical strategies from expert speakers on how organisations can raise awareness, provide appropriate support, and create workplace cultures that recognise menopause as a wellbeing and mental health issue, enabling employees to feel supported and able to thrive.

Their services focus on promoting mental wellness and aiding individuals in their journey toward improved mental health and resilience.
