After a SELL-OUT debut, Swig & Solve is returning to Elsewhere Bar for another relaxed, memorable evening of locks, compartments, hands-on puzzles and pirate adventure.
The first event saw the venue buzzing as groups laughed, shared discoveries and kept the evening going with bonus challenges long after the treasure had been found.
With people asking when Swig & Solve would return — and others disappointed to have missed out — we’re delighted to bring THE LOST TREASURE back to Kendal.
🍹 PIRATE COCKTAILS AND SOUNDTRACK
Special pirate-themed cocktails will once again be available throughout the evening, while DJ Jards returns with a pirate-inspired soundtrack to help set the scene.
Whether you missed the first event or you’re gathering a new crew, this is your chance to experience something genuinely different from the usual evening out.
Gather your group around a handcrafted wooden mystery chest. Open locks, work your way through compartments, solve enjoyable hands-on puzzles and uncover what lies inside.
Swig & Solve has some of the discovery and satisfaction of an escape room, but in a much more relaxed social setting.
Your group stays around its own table throughout, so there’s NO LOCKED ROOM, NO COUNTDOWN PRESSURE and NO NEED TO RACE. Take your time, enjoy a drink, talk things through and experience the discoveries together.
The puzzles are designed to be ENJOYABLE AND REWARDING, with enough challenge to feel satisfying while still keeping the evening moving. And if your group needs a little help, your pirate host is always nearby with a friendly nudge.

Once your group has completed the main chest, choose from a themed selection of larger bonus challenges. Some offer quicker, satisfying wins, while others provide something with a little more bite.
