Join us for a rare and exhilarating opportunity to learn from world-renowned percussionist Raquy Danziger, a master of the darbuka (goblet drum) whose electrifying style bridges ancient Middle Eastern traditions with modern innovation. Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned rhythm-lover, this workshop will awaken your inner beat and immerse you in the soulful power of drumming.

Raquy’s dynamic teaching style makes the art of drumming accessible, joyful, and deeply empowering. Participants will learn foundational strokes, rhythmic patterns, and body-centered techniques from the Turkish split-hand style she helped popularize. You’ll leave with new skills, uplifted energy, and a deeper connection to the universal language of rhythm.
