Swedish Advanced, March 2025 (San Francisco/In person)

Classes: 8 x 90 min

This class is the continuation for students who have been studying the Advanced class with Anne-Louise in person on Mondays, or for students who have studied Swedish for at least three years and achieved a strong level of spoken and written language skills elsewhere. To join the class, students should have achieved at least equivalent to B1 level in Swedish:

1. Can manage common social and professional interactions with some fluency.
2. Can understand main points of clear speech on work, school, or leisure topics.
3. Can engage in conversations in routine situations but may struggle with complexity.
4. Can read straightforward texts, news articles, and instructions.
5. Can write connected texts, narrating experiences and expressing opinions.
6. Vocabulary covers general topics, and grammar is functional but occasionally inaccurate..

Emphasis on the advanced class is to develop conversational skills and to improve fluency and understanding. Students focus on expressing themselves with more complex sentences and expanding their vocabulary. Complementary course material is used in class, such as articles and podcasts.

All sales are final. Students can be transferred between different levels if needed, but refunds are not offered.
