Sweater Weather

All ages and abilities are invited to join us for our fall Sweater Weather celebration! Bring your finger knitting or other yarn creations and help wrap our library trees in colorful, cozy decorations before they shed their leaves for the winter.
Then head inside the library to discover the creative possibilities of fiber arts. We'll be transforming the gallery into a hands-on fiber arts experience with fun activity stations where you can create, explore, and play. Whether you're an experienced maker or trying fiber arts for the first time, there's something for everyone!
The Yarn Bin
Check out our Yarn Bin corner! Bring in skeins (in good condition) you no longer need and swap them for yarn that's new to you. Donate the yarn that's been sitting in your stash or discover some inspiration for your next project.
The Tea Party
Drop in throughout the day for a cup of something hot, a nibble, and the perfect atmosphere to work on your own projects. Bring your half-finished scarves and sweaters and enjoy a treat while you knit, crochet, or spin, and catch an episode or two of a cozy mystery show in the background.
This event is open to all ages and crafting ability, no experience required, just curiosity!
