Sanctuary is turning two and to celebrate, we’ve got a whole day devoted to inviting you to dive deeper into the experience of seeking safety in and through our bodies with Sustenance: A Somatic Experience. This celebration is a full day retreat happening on Saturday, March 21st.Our very own Sarah will teach a morning session where we will slow the practice down, grounding into our senses so that we can learn to tolerate sensation, restore regulation, and rebuild our capacity for connection.
To make the experience extra special, we’ve invited a guest presenter for our afternoon session: Dr. Alissa Gardenhire. In this session we will explore body mapping, boundaries, ideal touch, and the natural “touch high” that emerges from presence, consent, and human connection.
A note about the money:
Like everything with Sanctuary, Sustenance is a pay what you can event, but we’re listing a market value of 100/person so that if you have the capacity to offer market rates, you’ll know how. Once we have collected $1000 toward the event, we’ll be able to pay our guest presenter and cover her travel.
