Join us for a foraging class at the Stony Creek Farmers Market in Branford, CT!
This class will focus on foraging invasives & cultivating native species for an edible landscape. As foraging becomes more and more popular, it's important to consider how our actions may impact the wild world. By tailoring our foraging methods depending on a species' ecology, we can make sure our activities are a boon to the ecosystems, rather than a stressor.
Class will be co-taught by founder of CT Foraging Club Amy Demers and founder of Ungardening Native Plants Aubree Keurajian.
Class will consist of a 45 minute lecture, followed by a 45 minute walk where we will practice plant/mushroom ID.
Tickets are $30 per person and will include a cup of foraged tea. Payment in cash or Venmo the day of the class.
Email [email protected] with your full name to reserve a spot!
We will run the class rain or shine.
