This session focuses on you as a carer, including:
Looking after your health, mental health and wellbeing
Finding time for yourself and building support into your week
Connecting with local services, supports and other carers

Support during the event
Lifely staff can spend time with your family member so you can attend the session.
This is short-term, on-site support only.
We provide general supervision and engagement.
We can’t provide:
One-on-one support
Personal care (including toileting)
Medication support
Complex behaviour or medical support
Please note:
You are responsible for your family member. If they need more support, you’ll be asked to step in.
If you don’t register your family member before the event cut-off date, we may not have enough staff available. You may not be able to use this service.
Important information
This event has been made possible through additional carer respite funding from the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing.
To help us provide safe and appropriate support, we may ask a few questions when you register about your family member’s needs and preferences.
