Take a moment for yourself this fall and go exploring! Join an experienced guide, get outside and enjoy the natural wonders of St. Lucie County with the Environmental Resources Department's award-winning Guided Nature Program series. With over 11,000 acres of protected land in the county, there are plenty of opportunities to hit the trails. Whether it’s your first time joining the program, or your 100th time, there’s always something exciting to discover on St. Lucie County Preserves!
· Saturday, Oct 18 – Survival Instincts Stroll at Sheraton Scrub Preserve (9:30am-11:00am) - The wildlife at Sheraton Scrub Preserve invite you to discover their secret adaptations to survival. Plant and reptile enthusiasts may especially enjoy this walk. Take a gentle, beginners pace walk with a total distance of just under one mile.

ERD Guided Nature Program hikes are FREE, reservations are required, and space is limited. GNP season now runs from September through June.
