Free Surat Shabd Yoga Meditation Sessions

Free bi-weekly meditation sessions with Tamar and Laszlo at De Horizon on Monday from 16:30 to 18:00. Address: Hembrugstraat 156, Amsterdam. Tamar and Laszlo are students of Satguru Sirio Ji: a great nowadays realized Master of Surat Shabd Yoga.

Surat Shabd Yoga is a third eye meditation on the Inner Light and Sound: two phenomana by which the Divine Inner Self can be experienced in a concrete way. Surat Shabd Yoga aims at uniting (Yoga), the attention (Surat) with this Inner Light and Sound (Shabd). Surat Shabd Yoga brings about or increases profound inner peace, beatitude, clarity and sanity, sharp intuition, and profound unconditional love for all. The sessions are built up as follow:’

· Ca. 20 – 25 minutes of Bhajan- and Mantra singing accompanied by the Sitar (an Indian snare instrument). Starting the session with the singing of Sacred Songs and Mantra’s aims at calming down the mind and provokes an atmosphere conductive to meditation.

· Ca. 10 minutes guidance into meditation

· Ca. 30 minutes silent meditation

· Ca. 5 minutes Mantra singing to conclude the meditation session.
