Supporting Participation and Engagement Difficulties – Secondary Schools

Delivered by WINS Occupational Therapist, Nikita Bassi, this session will explore participation and engagement difficulties in secondary schools.

· Exploring reasons for why young people may be experiencing task avoidance in secondary schools.

· OT support strategies that can be utilised to mitigate task avoidance.

· Reflecting on how to better understand our young people through a holistic lens.

This session is open to all school staff across secondary schools Newham.
