Caregiving is a significant public health issue that impacts millions of people—both caregivers and those they care for. Join us for a compelling event that focuses on understanding the experiences of caregivers in North Carolina and exploring the latest initiatives designed to support them.
Led by Erin Kent an expert in health policy and caregiving research this session will examine the unique challenges caregivers face in various health settings. Drawing on findings from a recent listening session study and research on caregiving for adults and individuals with disabilities the event will highlight recent federal and state policy developments affecting caregivers programs and initiatives recognizing and supporting their efforts and collaborative policy recommendations involving efforts from the North Carolina Serious Illness Coalition and the North Carolina Caregiving Collaborative.
This session is designed to offer meaningful insights practical resources and actionable recommendations for anyone currently involved in caregiving or those who may be in the future.
