APES OF THE STATE
Apes of the State is an independent folk punk band from Lancaster, PA. As a band, they are driven by DIY ethics with a goal of helping as many people as possible with their music. Their upbeat, mandolin driven songs encompass the full range of human emotion and cover topics such as love, heartbreak, student loan debt, regret, and overcoming addiction.
Their most recent release, “They Can’t K*ll Us All (2023)” is a 7” split record with Washington band Sister Wife Sex Strike. It leaves no room for questioning the band’s political message and evolution in sound while still sticking to their acoustic roots.

RUMBLETRAMP
Mission and Corina Penn-Bartoo formed Rumbletramp as a folk-punk street performance duo while backpacking across the United States in 2012, eventually becoming staples of the North Carolina folk punk scene. Joined by Trevor Carriere and Robert Gucwa since 2017, Rumbletramp writes raw, emotional lyrics about addiction, hope and recovery sung in harmony over acoustic instruments and accented by woodwind melodies.

BOYGIRL RISING
Bandmates Ocean DeMarco and Gilligan Reynolds formed Boygirl Rising following a chance meeting at a D.I.Y. open mic in Raleigh, North Carolina. Boygirl Rising is a queer, femme, folk-punk duo who writes raw, energetic, and self-reflective songs about relationships, mental health, and emerging adulthood. Ocean and Gil are known for their harmonies and punchy lyrics, accompanied by acoustic guitar, ukulele, and banjo.
