Support Our Parks: Volunteer Event Hosted By The SCA
Join the Student Conservation Association (SCA) in volunteering at Fort Dupont Park in Southeast Washington, D.C. The SCA will lead various volunteer activities, including litter abatement and invasive plant removal.
What to Expect: No experience is needed! Gloves, tools, and light refreshments will be provided. Please arrive on time to hear the safety briefing.
If you require special accommodations to participate, please let our team know in advance.
Parking: Please park in the lot in front of the Fort Dupont Activity Center.

About the SCA: The Student Conservation Association (SCA) is the largest provider of hands-on environmental conservation programs for youth and young adults. Program participants protect and restore national parks, marine sanctuaries, cultural landmarks and community green spaces across the country. The SCA is devoted to building access to nature for all, providing green job opportunities for young people and teaching members how to become environmental stewards. Founded in 1957, the SCA is committed to building the next generation of conservation leaders dedicated to the lifelong protection of the environment and the communities we serve.
