Volunteer at THEARC Farm for Food Farm Fridays 2026
About this Event
This is a fun, high-energy event where you will be a smiling face handing out fruits, vegetables, herbs or flowers to about 200 people. No experience required--just a good attitude and willingness to help and interact with strangers.
Schedule of the day:
- 9-11am in THEARC Farm - Pick flowers, herbs and vegetables
- 11am - 12pm - Set up produce in the West building lobby
- 12-2pm - Distribute produce
Our busiest time is 11am - 1pm in the lobby. If you want to work for a limited time shift, please join us for that 2-hour portion. Sign up here and then let us know that you'll arrive at the West building lobby between 10:30 and 11:00am.
Please dress to get dirty and be comfortable. If foul weather is in the forecast, you can stay indoors. The giveaway happens rain or shine.
Children accompanied by a parent or guardian are welcome.
