SUP Yoga on the North East River at Bay Venture Outfitters!
Take your yoga practice out on the water! We begin class with an introduction to stand up paddle boarding on land. You will learn how to paddle, turn, get up and down, and what to do if you fall! An instructor will help you launch, and we head for a five-to-ten-minute paddle to warm up the body before anchoring down and moving through a mellow yoga flow on the boards. As you ground down into your first Downward-Facing Dog of the day the water laps against the side of your board. It glistens on your SUP, as it gently cools your fingertips and toes, reminding you of the unique, beautiful environment you have brought your practice to! Stability, balance, flexibility, will pleasantly challenge your physical body, while your mind gets the privilege of meditating in nature.
Kula SUP’s yoga classes are accessible to all levels. Our expert instructors are armed with numerous adaptations and modifications to customize and bring ease to your flow. We welcome everyone, from the first-time yogi or paddler to the most adventurous inversion junkies!
Monday evenings- Sunset Yin SUP Yoga w/Shelli. This is a slower paced yoga class offering longer holds in restorative postures.
Saturday mornings- SUP Yoga Flow w/Kristin. This a Vinyasa style yoga class where we flow with our breath & the water below.
3rd Fridays starting in June- Special Sunset SUP Yoga Flow with Sam!

*Pre-Registration REQUIRED. Online registration closes 6 hours before class.
*Pre paddle boarding/yoga experience recommended but not required. Check out our Intro to SUP Classes at this location on Wednesday nights at 6pm or Saturday mornings at 8am. *All Participants Must Be Able To Swim
*Please arrive 20 minutes before class
*If bringing your own board, you are REQUIRED by law to bring your own USCG approved life jacket, safety whistle, and SUP Leash. For SUP Yoga we will supply anchors for you.
