SUP Yoga at The Floathouse is an invitation to slow down and settle into the calm—right in the heart of downtown Petaluma. Out on the water, the Turning Basin holds a special kind of quiet. Even when the world feels busy, the river has a way of softening everything.
This is an all-levels experience, welcoming curious first-timers and seasoned yogis alike. You don’t need paddleboard experience, yoga experience, or any particular level of flexibility. You choose your effort. You choose your flow. This practice is about being on the water, in nature, together.
We begin with a short, gentle paddle from The Floathouse docks—an easy way to get comfortable on your board (knees are always welcome!). Once we reach our spot, we anchor together so the tide won’t interrupt your flow. From there, we settle in and move, stretch, breathe, and rest—supported by expert instruction and plenty of grace.
All equipment is provided, including extra-stable paddleboards that are 34 inches wide and 11 feet long—much bigger than a yoga mat, and designed to help you feel grounded and secure. Think of it as yoga with a little water magic beneath you.
Come as you are. Check in. Relax. Get comfortable.
