The sun is at its peak, and we're gathering beneath it.Sunset Society returns for the solstice. The longest day of the year, the last golden exhale before summer begins tipping toward the dark.
We'll meet at the Edmonds marina to do what humans have always done near this threshold: come together, feel something real, and watch the light go down slowly.
We'll play a few connection games - no experience needed, just your willingness to show up. Let golden hour do what it does, and close the night watching the sun sink into the Sound together. Somewhere in there, we'll pause and ask each other one question:
What in you is asking to be more fully seen this summer?
Come carrying whatever this season has been asking of you. We'll send you home carrying a little more light than you arrived with.
This is the second gathering of something that's only just beginning. 🌅
What to bring: A blanket, layers for when the air cools, your wild precious heart, and anything you'd like to drink or snack on. Sharing encouraged. ✨
Optional tiny magic: bring a flower, stone, shell, written word, or small object for a shared solstice altar - something for the sun, something for the season, something for the version of you that's arriving next.
We'll be gathered near the waterfront look for the Sunset Society flag and the big warm smiles.
