The Plein Air Painters of the Chesapeake Bay (PAPCB) invite
the 2026 Plein Air Easton competition artists and alumni artists to our traditional pre-competition Sunset Paint Out on Wednesday July 8 at Easton Point.
Arrive at 6 p.m. or when it suits. Sunset is at 8:24 p.m.
Easton Point is at the foot of Port Street.
From PAE Headquarters (the Waterfowl Building), take South St. toward Washington St, and turn right on S. Washington St. Take a quick left onto Port Street and follow to the end.
What’s there to paint? Water views of the Tred Avon River facing west, marina, boats, piers, funky buildings. Ample parking just steps from good painting sites.
No RSVP necessary, join us if you can!

Since 2014, the Plein Air Painters of the Chesapeake Bay have gathered weekly during the spring, summer and fall. Setting up their easels on waterfront estates, in historic villages and on working farms, they explore and document our region through their art. As a group they enjoy friendship, camaraderie, and supportive critique, welcoming all to join.
