Next Generation - Painting Competition & Sale

To participate, pick up a registration form for the Next Generation Painting Competition from one of our friendly staffers. Once you're set, head out and paint from life! You can paint anything that inspires you and use any medium you want, from pen & ink to acrylics to colored pencil–the choice is yours. All artists under 18 are encouraged to register.
After you've created your masterpiece, frame or mat your work and come up with a title. Don't forget to add a good sales price for your artwork, just like the Plein Air Easton Competition painters do. Submit your artwork at the Avalon Theatre Lobby for judging no later than 12pm on Sunday. Make sure to tell your friends and family to come see your work as part of this fantastic exhibition!
Finally, join us at the awards ceremony. The festival judge will select award-winning paintings in two categories: 11 and under, and 12-18 years old. Have some fun, get inspired, and don't miss your chance to paint, sell, and win! At 12:30 PM, the competition judge will select the winning paintings for prizes. The Next Generation Painting Competition paintings will be on exhibit and available for sale from noon to 1 PM. Bring the whole family for a day of artistic fun, inspiration, and community! We can't wait to see you there!
Need supplies? For $30, you can purchase a registration and art kit that includes everything you need to hit the streets, paint, frame, and submit your work. Supply kits are available while supplies last in the Avalon Theatre lobby.
