Dr. Valerie G. M. Scott is the founder and CEO of Gifted & Quirky, Inc. As an educator, education administrator, and university adjunct professor, she has been providing academic and executive functioning success support services to students, adults, and families for over 45 years.
After retiring from the public school system, she began conducting extensive research in autism, specifically around highly intelligent individuals with autism and their experiences in higher education. During that time, she also began experimenting with providing individualized academic coaching services to students identified as twice-exceptional, gifted with a diagnosis of autism, ADHD, anxiety disorder, or a learning disability.
During our global COVID experience, she realized the need to pivot to a virtual platform to be able to continue to serve families. After successfully providing virtual services during a two-year pilot program, Gifted & Quirky was incorporated in Broward County, Florida on 04/24/24.
