Sunflowers Children's Action Group is a small registered children's charity (1186308) run entirely by volunteers and we create fun, accessible and inclusive events four amazing children and their families.
On Sunday 22nd September, we will be holding our annual sponsored walk, which will once again take place in Cleethorpes.
Walkers are encouraged to dress as their favourite Superhero and get sponsored to help raise funds for Sunflowers to enable us to create some wonderful activities for our local children who have life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
At the time of booking, you can choose to walk from The Pier to Wonderland and back (about 1 mile, suitable for those with little legs and walking difficulties), or from the Leisure Centre to Wonderland and back (around 2.5 miles), or the Boating Lake to Wonderland and back (4 miles) or from the end of the old Pleasure Island car park to Wonderland and back (just under 5 miles).
We asking everyone taking part to get sponsored - you can take part as an individual, a family or a group. But, as we are limited to 100 people, we need you to let us know who would like to take part so we can send the application form.
Entry is £10 per adult and £2.50 per child under the age of 13.
To enter:
Please drop an email to [email protected] with details of your group - how many adults and how many children.
You will be sent the link to book online, with a password, where you will also be able to pay your booking fee.
Within 24 hours, we will confirm your places and you will be sent a link for this event on Justgiving to be able to set a fundraising page up. Please do not use any other fundrasing platform or set your page up before we confirm your places.
Then, you're ready to get going. We can also supply paper sponsor forms if you would like any.
