Set in Jaywick, Sundream follows no-nonsense Jackie as she remembers the long hot summer of 1976 and her first teenage romance. Fifty years on, she finds herself peculiarly interested in newly arrived Dave, who takes ‘seeing the bright side of life’ to new extremes. But how will the temperature impact them, their relationship and the future of their community?
