Sundown Meditation and Slow Art
About this Event
Sundown Meditation & Slow Art — An Inner Journey Workshop
Step away from the pace of everyday life and spend an evening slowing down, reconnecting and creating.
Sundown Meditation & Slow Art is a gentle inner journey combining guided meditation, deep relaxation and intuitive watercolour art-making. As the day settles into evening, you’ll be invited to quiet the mind, release tension and reconnect with yourself in a calm and welcoming space.
No meditation or art experience is required. Simply come as you are.
About the Programme
The evening begins with a warm introduction to guided meditation for deep relaxation and connection to self, exploring simple ways that mindfulness and relaxation can become part of everyday life.
You will then be guided through a one-hour visualisation and deep relaxation session led by Sheela Jaganathan, Wellbeing Coach and Transpersonal Psychology Practitioner. Allow yourself to rest, turn your attention inward and create space away from the mental noise of daily life.
From stillness, we transition naturally into Slow Art.
Rather than focusing on creating a polished or “perfect” artwork, Slow Art invites you to enjoy the act of making itself. Using watercolours, you’ll explore colour, movement, marks and forms intuitively—following your own natural rhythm and allowing the creative process to unfold without pressure or judgement.
It is an opportunity to slow down, be present and express freely.
