Celebrate National Day and Kumar’s birthday month with Singapore’s one and only Queen of Comedy — live, unfiltered and up close at RASA.

This special August edition brings the laughs, local madness, and no-filter Kumar energy to RASA, with shows running through August and 1 September.
Doors Open: 6.30 PM •
Show Starts: 8:00 PM sharp (⚠️ WARNING: IF YOU COME LATE AH… SURE KENA TEKAN BY KUMAR UNTIL JIALUT ONE so better be seated by 8pm sharp hor!

Doors open from 5:00 PM for dining, drinks, and pre-show gathering.

Seating starts at 6:30 PM. Please arrive early.

From 6:45 PM, the night begins with a curated mix of classic music videos to warm up the room before Kumar takes the stage.

Kumar is Singapore’s one and only Queen of Comedy — a cultural icon known for fearless comedy, sharp wit, and decades of unforgettable live performances. —a leading comic and drag queen who’s been stealing hearts since the early ’90s. With over two decades of stage, television, and film glory under his sash, he's perhaps best remembered for keeping us in stitches at the legendary Boom Boom Room.

From the legendary Boom Boom Room to packed live shows across Singapore, Kumar continues to bring audiences together for nights of laughter, honesty, and pure local madness, we simply can’t get enough. A bold advocate for queer issues and unafraid to poke fun at local politics, Kumar’s razor-sharp wit—often aimed at taboos—has somehow always charmed both audiences and authorities alike. Whether you agree or not, he’s earned his place as a fearless—and funny—voice for all Singaporeans, across every race, gender, and orientation.

And as usual: Enjoy your retro tunes accompanied with music video sprinkled through the evening. If you’ve been to Kumar’s shows before, some may feel like old friends returning to the stage.

Where is RASA located?

RASA is at Republic Plaza Tower 1, #02-01/02, Singapore 048619. There are three convenient ways to reach us.

1.⁠ ⁠From Raffles Place MRT Station:

Take Exit E towards D’almeida Street. After exiting the station, cross the road to Republic Plaza. Do not go into the building but turn left along the building, walk past Autobar until you reach the glass door next to it—you’re here.

2.⁠ ⁠Alternative Route from Raffles Place MRT Station:

Follow Exit D and walk through the underground food court towards Republic Plaza Tower 1. Continue past the concierge until you arrive at the glass door at the end of the lobby. Exit through this door, turn right, and walk past Autobar until you see another glass door—welcome to RASA!

3.⁠ ⁠From Republic Plaza 1 drop-off

Turn left and walk past Autobar until you see a glass door next to it. You're here.
