About Illumia:

Michelle is a board certified Physician Assistant by trade with a passion for blending western medicine with science based holistic modalities. She completed a residency in emergency medicine at New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical center and has 14 years of combined experience in emergency medicine and pain management. After noticing the incredible effects of sound meditation on her own well being, she then underwent a formal sound healing practitioner training with The Sound Healing Academy and has studied under well known practitioners in the industry in both Austin and LA.

Michelle has examined the studies documenting the positive effects of sound on mood, brainwave entrainment, PTSD, physical pain, and the sympathetic nervous system. Equiped with this knowledge, she is passionate about bringing the benefits of sound healing to the world.

Michelle brings an attention to detail through her studies of the science of sound and her intentions to provide an immersive and transformative experience where healing can occur, and invites you to show up to your mat with an open mind, heart, and a readiness to relax into a deeper state of wellness.

After the sound bath session, join us for a delightful light reception with snacks and adaptogenic tea, and engage in heartfelt conversations with fellow attendees, sharing your experiences and insights from the transformative sound bath.
